About Ploughshare Innovations

Ploughshare innovations Ltd*is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dstl and has direct access to the extensive research and related Intellectual Property developed for the MoD Dstl’s role is to support the MoD by identifying and developing areas of science and technology (S&T) necessary for the MoD to deliver on its objectives.

Our expertise enables the licencing of that Intellectual Property for commercial applications with industry.

The naming of Ploughshare Innovations reflects long standing ideologies related to converting ‘swords into ploughshares’ and converting items developed for military purposes in to civilian applications.
