We attended the world-leading defence and security event, DSEI, in London in 2019 and yet again it proved to be a very worthwhile event. We held numerous meetings with potential licensees and identified new ones, as well as meeting with colleagues from across Dstl and the MOD.

On Wednesday we were joined on our stand by an existing licensee, Claresys, who demonstrated the amazing capabilities of their pinhole cameras. And on Thursday and Friday our latest licensee, Riskaware, joined us to showcase their new CBRN hazard prediction software.

Wednesday also saw our CEO’s presentation in the Innovation Hub. Titled “Swords to Ploughshares: The Wider Benefits of Defence Technology” James addressed how we maximise the MOD’s investment in Science and Technology (S&T) research.
