We helped BBI Detection take up the licence for a Dstl technology, to launch the ‘IMASS lateral flow device’. The product transforms the way that ‘first response’ emergency services identify biological and explosive threats, and gather DNA evidence.
In collaboration with Dstl, BBI Detection now offers an ebola virus testing kit. Many thousands of these kits have been produced to help tackle the crisis in West Africa.

Originally developed at Dstl, the Cyber Defence Capability Assessment Tool (CDCAT) has been licensed by Ploughshare to the APM Group. The APM Group is using this unique CDCAT software to enable organisations to assess their resilience against cyber threats, and put safeguards in place.

Working with us, Morgan Advanced Materials gained a licence for specialist ceramic material technology developed by Dstl. It has successfully applied this for use in vehicle armour systems – specifically, for the Ridgeback patrol vehicle, procured by the UK Government for use in Afghanistan.
